I was trying by my question to establish if you were a new user or an established one as your first post didn't make it clear. Your statement "i tried all the fixes mentioned here but couldn't get LW to start" does not either make it clear what you have tried.
I'm trying to help and my inclination, if SON456's suggestion doesn't help is to totally uninstall Limewire and all it's components.
Install fresh Java by downloading the installer rather than installing in line ... then re-install Limewire from
www.limewire.com
I don't know if you have tried this ... If you have I'm not sure how to help. It would seem you would have some sort of problem possibly elsewhere on your computer.
