Is the download state in the Downloads pane "Queued (x active, x passive)"
or is the state in the Downloads pane "Waiting".
If it is the first, you are remotely queued. You'll just to wait before the other side has a download slot available for you. You'll need to leave gtkg running otherwise you'll loose your queue position (unless the remote is also running gtkg, in which case your position is remembered over all sesions).
If it says waiting, you might want to check the messages you get in the Sources pane.
