I've noticed that Limewire really doesn't "support" WMAs, when you hover over it, it doesn't show all the nifty information, and the bitrate (the number I think you are talking about) isn't displayed either. I would take advantage of the fact that there are more MP3 files out there and download one of those. Try and look for a higher bitrate, like 192. Then, in Windows, you can just right click on the file and convert it to a WMA. I tend to prefer WMA for it's higher sound quality at smaller sizes.
