You definately have a bigger problem than just being scammed, you have picked up some malware, while surfing the internet, that has hi-jacked your browser.

This could mean that either your HOSTS file, PC registry, your browser or all three have been compromised and could be in the control of an outside force, i.e. criminals, hackers, etc.

I presumed that because you got 'jacked you don't have adequate protection such as anti-virus or a firewall defending your PC. If I am right then you may also be infected with a back-door trojan or virus.

Usually criminals/hackers now attack a PC because there is some ilicit financial gain to be made, i.e. getting your financial details so that they plunder you bank and/or credit card accounts.

So, apart from the advice given by LOTR and Hobo, I will also suggest that you get your PC reformatted and re-installed and, before going onto the internet again, get yourself some protective software.
