The XP is disabled.
Re Sygate, I've checked the link and know how to give it permission but the Frostwire or Limewire entry isn't showing in the applications to be able to allow it, even though I have Frostwire running and an excellent connection is showing and it allows me to download.

With regards to the router, it's unbranded. The only info it gives is 4 ports IEEE 802.11g ADSL wireless router.
