"IF" it's an AVI or MPG/MPEG file then it should be safe from virii. If the last 1% is corrupt, then see if you can ignore it. It's probably only the final credits of the video missing anyway. So then do what you want with it, view it or burn it. ie: Take it out of the incomplete folder & remove it from the downld window (using the Stop button.) Make sure you can play the file before doing anything else with it. I'd recommend VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) to check how it plays & whether it can be played! It still might be usable. The corruption might be due to a no. of things such as somebody changing the tag info after you started to downld it (light corruption) or the file itself is corrupt due to poor encoding or the file was corrupted due to interference in the transmission of data. Or the corruption is due to file corruption ... various reasons such as corrupt HDD directory or other system or HDD problems.
