Default LimeWire not working properly

I've seen this topic discussed on this forum numerous times but none of the solutions posted worked for me including the two solutions presented by LOTR.

So here I go, I was running LimeWire 3.9 for a long time (and prior to that, some older versions of LimeWire), then suddenly LimeWire 3.9 stopped working. It would load but when the window was about to be opened the application crashed and ended without any notification. I decided to check if LimeWire has any new versions to upgrade to a newer LimeWire which might fix the problem but no, the problem stayed and now I as soon as I try opening LimeWire it gets to opening the window but then does not respond or crashes.

Heres what I have tried with no success doing so far:
-deleating the .limewire data
-reinstalling java v1.5 offline
-downgrading to java v1.4
-uninstalling limewire and reinstalling it on a different hard drive on the same computer
-erasing all registry traces of LimeWire before reinstalling it again
-I do not run the firewall that came with sp2 and my outpost firewall was off when I tried to run LimeWire

Here is my system:
Windows XP sp2, 224mb RAm, 1.34ghz

Any suggestions are welcome.
