Any installer crashes in any situation are definitely not our intention. We all seriously have to chill out on the conspiracy theories here.

There is likely something wrong with the installer here, as we know the Windows installer has some issues (most of which have to do with the extremely buggy latest version of InstallShield). I will look into this particular problem and try to come up with a solution.

As far as the international payment idea goes, that is definitely a good idea. Americans frequently forget that the rest of the world exists, admittedly. The issue will be more a matter of having the human resources to set it up, so you may have to resort to the "piracy" route for now.
