It seems it is a server problem. I've had quite a no. of complaints from users about this problem. Techs will see if the present server has a problem or whether it needs to be moved to a faster server. The latter the more likely one. But that probably means some arranging & purchasing, setting up, etc. which will take notable time to do. The forums are certainly operating worse now than when the original complaints surfaced. Using the search function is a very annoying process now since it rarely seems to work. We can only wait & try to be patient until the changes are made & I have no time line on when that might be.

Edit: I had been trying to post a reply to a thread for 4 hours. I eventually just created a new thread & then merged the threads. Sometimes I can reply to threads, sometimes not. I tried different browsers, clearing cache & history, approaching the thread from different points.
