You will need to uninstall LimeWire and Java go to Start/Control Panel/Add and Remove Programs and uninstall them. Make sure you uninstall all versions of Java.

Then go to Start/My Computer/Local Disk (C/Documents and Settings/User Name/Application Data/LimeWire and delete the LimeWire folder.

Now reboot your computer and go to the links below and get LimeWire and Java and save them to your hard drive use the off line installers.

http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Now with that done install Java then reboot your computer now install Java. If this doesn’t work then the next step is to uninstall everything and edit your registry. The tool that LonestarSecurity referred to in the link that birdy left appears to be a pretty good tool. You can get it at this link. http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm is called RegSeeker 1.45

Click on the Find in registry line then type in java delete all the java entries it finds then reboot. If it does its job you will probably have to download Java and LimeWire again it will probably detect the Java installer and Java in the LimeWire installer. If it were me I would just delete those two installers before I edit the registry.
