The files can be as large as you want. You should be able to copy and paste it into your shared folder. The default place for your shared folder is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared.
Some people might not want to d/l a file that large. It would be better if it was smaller or split into two files. I'm no expert but if you still have the disc you could try using a program like
DVD Shrink to edit the file.
