Optimum online have had a lot of problems recently... in December mainly ... and p2p trafic ground to a halt. It is probable that the average employee on the helpdesk knew little about this, and this forum has recieved a rather garbled version of what happenned and whether it was cured.
I suggest you make a nuisance of yourself. Find someone who REALLY knows what their talking about and find out what is going on. ... and If you find out anything definite ... please let us know
