I doubt that you got Win32.P2P-worm Alcan.a from LimeWire. You go the virus from downloading and opening a software file 851.7kb in size. If you didn't notice there are allot of these 851.7kb files on the network every software search you do allot of them will show up.

Now if you didn't download anything and you got the virus from installing LimeWire then you got your copy of LimeWire from somewhere besides the official site.

The Fix only get LimeWire from the official site. Educate yourself about viruses on the network you might find the link below hopefully in that department. And get rid of the attitude we are all volunteers here and LimeWire did not cause the problem YOU DID go to the link below Norbie will be able to help you get rid of the virus. But I would get rid of the attitude of telling people what they had better do before I went there. You are lucky anybody answered your post.
