i have used limewire for a while now. I used it on my old computer and it worked fine. Then I got a new one, and i started having problems. I can't get a connection no matter what i do. I went as far as disabling my firewall in case i messed up putting in the limwire exception. I allowed upnp on my linksys wrt54g router. my isp is altell. upnp is checked in my limewire settings. i don't know what to do if i need to use manual port forwarding or anything technical. right now it is set to listen on port 44318, and the manual one is 6346 isI have norton antivirus on my comp. i disabled it while i tried connecting but that didn't help. when i tried the test page to see if the one port was open it failed. so what to do? i used limewire before with this isp and router. i hate problems and i don't know lots of fancy computer words. tell me anything i should try.
