Use your Add/Remove Programs control panel to remove Java. Then reinstall it using the "Offline" version. There's often issues when installing Java online (over the net.) The offline version means you 1st downld the installer, & then install it. Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

After that, see if you can open or reinstall LW. If problems, also reinstall LW using the "Offline" installer.
