1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included.)

2. Make sure your firewall is properly configured (only keep one active firewall!!!) & your modem/router has UPnP enabled or else manually port forwarded; instructions here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link)
