you have several possibilties to avoid spyware in limewire:

* buy a mac or install linux on your x86
* buy limewire pro for 6 bucks
* compile your own limewire from the open source code.

bitchin and moaning about spyware won't help you. It was YOUR decision to have a Windows Computer.... so you should face its disadvantages....
