First u need to navigate to C:\Windows\Installer and delete a folder named {89E44270-721E-4084-8EA2-D403098C191E}. If u don't see this folder you must first make all hidden and system files viewable

Next we edit the registry (WARNING!!! manually editing or modifying the Registry can destroy your Windows OS, proceed with caution)
Click Start, Run and type in "regedit", The Regedit program will launch. You will need to search the entire registry for "limewire", remove any keys found

Done! try reinstalling LimeWire and it should work, if not u deleted the data on the right in the Registry, u must delete the keys on the left also.
