That link has 3 parts: 1. Bitzi, 2. Direct Connect, 3. Magnet Links

For direct connecting, (1) you need to know your friend's ip address. Once you have it, (2) select direct connect search type, you type the ip address into the direct connect search type box. (3) Press search.
'Your' ip address will be listed above the search box. If it isn't then 'you' probably have a firewall problem.
