How did you remove it? Using the add/remove control panel is the wrong way.

I'd suggest you use this utility to clean out the registry: http://www.ccleaner.com/

Then try this version which requires no installation: "Other" If you still have problems then there is an alternative installer. You just unzip it & use it. See Here about other version.
