Hmm, I would go and uninstall LW and all Java versions on your computer. Then Download the newest JRE offline installer from Java (1.5.0_07) as well as the LW offline installer.

After uninstalling both, you should reboot, then install the Java and reboot again. Then install LW........that should do it...
