I have windows xp im trying to connect from home im not sure of the ram or the what fire walls, the only fire wall things i can think of are the ones for aol and all the internet stuff, i have a dial up connection, i have lime wire pro 14.12.3 and java 1.5.0_06, there IS a wall infront of the globe down the bottom, this is a first problem ive had with a downloading agent and im not that experienced, my internet service provider is AOL, when i did the test you suggested it said it worked, im not sharing the connection with any other computer.
