3. Always start with LW Basic, & if you like it then consider getting pro. Many people consider pro as more of a donation toward the future development of the program. Pro does not give you any special advantages. It does connect to 5 peers instead of 3 which gives better search results for "rarer" files, but for common ones is about the same. It will allow each file to connect to 10 hosts instead of 8 for basic for downloading. Unless you're running a T3 speed when both will be slightly more. Pro is best for high speed connections.
4. Quality of what you download is what you select to download. Look at the
Stickies all around the forums for tips about this. And problems with applying the downloads is up to the user & their skills & their software. Videos that don't play are up to user set up for video converting/burning. As long as they checked the files play on computer beforehand.
