I have an external hard drive (Maxtor) on which I have a very large library of tunes.

Because I had to run a disk cleanup and re-order program on this hard drive, now although the music is still there, it takes forever to load the library onto the computer so I can run it.

Is there a way to re-write this library properly, so it will load much more efficiently?
