When you say you do not have any firewall activated, do you mean that you have disabled those on your computer (i.e. the XP built-in one)?
It would be better to configure the firewall properly than to just disable it. Some firewalls still keep some prcesses running in the background although they are disabled.

ok i did the port test..all is good there i think..and i have macafee but not currently using..i think i may also have windows firewall also..i tried to do the instructions and there is something there about a listening port..it would not let me putt all the numbers in it..i tried.. can you help me please any help would be greatly appreciated..thank you..i dont know what all the computer language means also
