(problem after using standby or hibernate) can't reconnect to NET

I use Hibernate as the idea is to put your P.C. in a low power state and then you can return to your Windows session quickly and everything is as you left it!

It works fine as long as you don't want to get back on the net, I put a short cut on the desktop to the Local Area Connection Status which has a support Tab where you can click on it and REPAIR CONNECTION - that doesn't work, you can turn off the broardband moden and back on - that doesn't work either.

But if you turn off the computer then back on you can reconnect no problem, which cancels out the benefit of using hibernate in the 1st place as you have to restart Windows and wait while everything reloads again.

Have tested using standby also and the exactly same thing...
