Apparently the options are still there. I didn't know about this. Was informed by one of the LW devs.
Right-click (control-click for mac) on the small left corner circle & options will appear for what you'd prefer to show in the filter.
Quote: "you can change what they're filtering on by clicking on the circle on the top-left of each box. You can minimize them by clicking on the arrow on the top-right of the box."
