Did it all...why can't I connect? So I have been on this site doing a variety of suggestions to no avail. I used to be able to connect to Limewire fine, but I think since I switched to my new router, something changed. I have the Linksys WRT54G router. On limewire startup, I have the brick firewall on there. Which had been there before, but I was able to connect fine before. I do not get any error messages, just all red in the bar graph at the bottom left. I have disabled the windows firewall, even tried disabling my norton firewall, but the brick is still there on startup. I am running Windows XP and the port forward feature does not work for me because Comcast only uses dynamic servers thereby=no static ip assignment for me. The test page also worked for me and I have exceptions in Norton for the ports to be enabled. Any help??? |
