Exclamation Windows crashes

Hi,
I have experienced a new problem that occurs when I finally have managed to get connected (like a lot of other people out there I have difficulties getting connected).

When I start a search or even have reached a point of starting to download an mp3-file Windows crashes on me, the screen goes all black and Windows have to restart again. I wonder if any of you experienced technicians and administrators out there could have an idea of what conflict makes this happens over and over again?

I have Windows 98, 2nd edition, and Nortons Internet Security Family Edition Firewall installed. I have however configured Norton to accept both outgoing and ingoing traffic from Newtella. I have tried all of the 3 hosts that you suggest for best connections but this fact does not seem to have any influence on the frequency of crashes.

I would be very happy for any suggestion.

Kindest Regards
thomcats
