Hello, I am new here on the forum and this is my first time on and I am looking for help!!!!!
I was upgrading from the Limewire that I had to the newer version on the basic level. When it got to the point that it said that another version of Limewire was running and that I needed to shut it down, I did not know how to. I did not have it running on the bottom of the screen and I did not have it up on the desktop. So I "ignored" that and it continued on, but when it was done downloading it said that I had a corrupt version in the newer version and that I needed to do it again. I tried and had the same thing happen.
I must tell you that I am not a very experienced user on the computer, so please be patient with me. If anyone can tell me what to do so that I can get the newer version that would be wonderful. I really enjoy Limewire and now that I have tried to upgrade it won't even let me access my old Limewire. I do not want to lose all of my songs as I have downloaded a bunch, can anyone help me?
