There's a firewall somewhere, as you stated above...Because you are at work, it could mean a number of things causing you not to be able to connect...
Firstly have you asked Admin if there have been any changes to their ISP (means the company that connects you to the internet, not your browser), firewalls, modem/router...As you have no knowledge of this information, it's hard to determine what exactly the problem is...
