I would just like to backup what AW has said and that is basically you have nothing to worry about because normal usage of your PC will overwrite any deleted file in due course.

As for defrag, the only file that cannot be defragmented is the Windows Swap File, which is an area on your hard disk that windows use as a temporary memory store. This "temporary memory store" is dynamic, i.e. it shrinks and expands as needed by your windows O/S.

One other thing, your Eraser application is unlikely to work now as the files you want to erase are gone, so basically you can only use it on a file that you have not yet deleted.

So stop worrying and get on with your life.
