I also have a teenager and something that has helped us is to go to Tools > Options > Filters > Keywords and then put in these file extensions. .wma, .exe, .rar, .html, .com, .zip, and .mov. I'm not saying this will cure the problem, but if you are aware of whats going on when your child is on the computer this will be a big help because alot of the bad stuff won't come up. If he is searching for porn, than that is a diffrent show. If that is the case maybe I can suggest a few sites : miniclips.com, cartoonnetwork.com, and the disneychannel.com would be better for him, instead of Limewire. |
