Yo Crow, Try this. Click Start > My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > File Type. I am assuming you have windows?? Now you can click on all of the WMP files to change them to what ever you want to open them with. If you have VLC for example, it will give you the option to change from WMP to VLC. Then click O.K. I found that you won't be able to change all of the files, but the ones you can't change you don't use anyway. This will take a while but is worth the effort to get rid of Whimppy Music Player.
