I am fairly certain that the Anti Virus and Anti Spyware programs that I operate with in conjunction with the firewall systems are not preventing the ability of LimeWire from downloading. Any constructive ideas and feedback is welcomed. Short of having to to do a System Restore, this would be my last resort. Cheers NB: My System Hardware I dont think is an issue. However, I would like to ask, if any users here that work with LimeWire are experiencing similar problems i.e.: downloading. If you have no problems, than may I ask what version of LimeWire are you using, and it would be helpful if could let me know with what Windows system i.e: Vista etc etc you are working with. Cheers |
Please ignore this request, I have been able to resolve the issue, by shear chance I reconfigured the settings in the Filter option located in the task bar of the LimeWire Program. In the midst of reconfiguring this section, it is possible, that the program after installation may have had the default settings offskew slightly. I would suggest that anyone experiencing a similar issue like I have had, go to this section, the other option may have been when instead of choosing the default setting for your completed downloads I have chosen to pre determine the download site this could also have been a factor, although I am not quite too sure.
Experiment with these sections, as these are only areas that I worked on before I was able to effect any download.
My download now works perfectly.
Cheers
