Default No connection

Limewire worked fine the first time I used it, now all of a sudden it remains unconnected. The FAQ suggests pinging "telnet 64.61.25.171 6346". The connection is reported as impossible due to the connection being "actively refused" by the recipient.

What can this mean, and does anyone have any idea what to do as a result?
