Which model D-Link do you have? The newer models have UPnP but mine didn't. Did you check the UPnP section in the link at bottom of your post about how to enable UPnP for it?
As far as the brickwall/blue world icon goes, you can re-enable viewing of it by going to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Status Bar>Firewall Indicator
What you could do temporarily is disable your McAffee firewall & use XP firewall instead but make sure LW is configured within it so it has full access. |
I found out how to configure my McAfee firewall and have granted full access (both inbound/outbound)
I have the D Link DI-634M. I don't know if it has UPnP but it is already enabled in LW.
I turned the firewall indicator back on in LW then disabled the McAfee firewall and verified the Windows firewall was off. Lw still detects a firewall. I'm not sure how how or why it's doing this.
I also tried manually changing the port to 64049 with no success.
Any other suggestions?
