PeerGuardian is something all users (IMHO) of the gnutella network should have installed and running when using any of the clients that access said network...or any 'public' filesharing network..
it is not LW that is under attack, but the users of the whole network whether they be LW users, BS users, Shareaza users, etc...
here's an example of what I see all the time when using BearShare in forced UP mode: I'll make a search, and very often the number of 'hits' PeerGuardian blocks are so numerous that it is obvious that I am basically being DDOS'd..and this is nothing 'new' rather something that has been building momentum for a while now...Macrovision, Cisco Systems Inc., fake emule servers, and FDC Servers.net,LLC are among the worst offenders from what I see in my logs...
