Try the port forwarding, if it's still stuffed try downloading the latest LW stable release, or there's a Beta version as well.

Do you have the installer for 4.8.1? If you still have that saved, you won't lose that version if you install another LW (LW automatically uninstalls the old version when you install a new version...so unless you have the installer your 4.8.1 would be gone). I've hosted a 4.8.1 basic, so you could always redownload it if you needed to

You could also try changing ports. In LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 64049 > apply > ok. Restart LW & see if it connects.
