My best guess is that your library files have been damaged. You should separate
your downloads from your shared files anyway, so that the library doesn't bloat and
break down again. In freepeers.ini (C:\Program Files\BearShare\FreePeers.ini) change
the Completed downloads folder (C:\Documents and Settings\Andy\My
Documents\My Music\) to something else like "C:\My Downloads". Then, in the
/db/ folder:
Code:
 Directory of C:\Program Files\BearShare\db

07/08/2007 07:22 PM <DIR> .
07/08/2007 07:22 PM <DIR> ..
07/08/2007 07:22 PM 1,380,942 BearShareHostiles.zip
05/26/2007 12:10 AM 3,103 config.bin
07/08/2007 07:02 PM 165,883 connect.txt
07/08/2007 06:43 PM 1,163 gwebcache.dat

07/08/2007 07:02 PM 3,776,512 library.db.lastgoodload.bak <-- replace with this
07/08/2007 06:43 PM 19 searches.ini
              12 File(s) 29,473,052 bytes
               2 Dir(s) 66,674,749,440 bytes free
If BearShare starts working again, add your music back in the library, if you wish.
If not, delete the rest of the Library files and try again.
