I had that problem too. I searched in this forum and found out how to completely uninstall the Limewire. 1. Do like you have been doing previously, and use the uninstall as usual 2. Go to Search enter "Limewire" let the search get completely done, [you will see lot and lots of entries] delete all entries. Reboot and do the search again as a precaution that you "got'em all" sometimes there will be some hang overs left so that is why you need to do this. 3.Install a register delete called "Registry Crawler" [It is free for a trial period] run this in EVERY MODE it has. Delete everything that has "Limewire" found by the "Registry Crawler" 4. Reboot and run the "Registry Crawler" a second time. Limewire is very hard to remove. Just be patient do all this over and over until ALL the traces are gone. I was also advised to load the NEW Limewire from only official Limewire downloads. Good luck
