Tiscali...ouch

I have found a solution to getting Limewire to work with Tiscali

Try changing ports & also connecting outside of peak hours, those threads above have more info about this.

Also, make sure that the XP firewall's configured to allow LW.

If you can find the model of the Netgear (look underneath the router), we can help you with port forwarding. Or, find the model number in the router index here.

Choose LW from the list of programs, then you'll find instructions for port forwarding. Don't forget the step of setting up a static IP address, if that's part of the instructions. LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within the router all have to be the same number
