I have now implemented the Tunneling option to the other blocked PC's. For your information this is done by selecting the Peer to Peer option in Windows Networking Services which can be opened by selecting Add Remove Windows Components under Control Panel. Unfortunately it has not removed the blockage/firewall. I have also disconnected the Router and have reconnected to the Internet directly through the modem. This also has had no effect to the blockage. Through process of elimination one must assume that the blockage is software based within the PC. Alternatively it must be something that Virgin is up to. Is it possible that their server is in some way restricting only one PC on my network to access Limewire. Surely this can only be done by identifying the IP/MAC address for that PC? |
