If you're using a newer version of LW, your preferences folder will be here:
C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\LimeWire.

The folder's hidden by default, you'll have to show hidden files & folders to see it Go to Control Panel > Folder Options > view > put a dot in the circke next to 'show hidden files & folders' > apply > ok.
