And finding bugs isn't always an easy task. What I'm trying to say is that if the bug has been brought up, and the developers are aware of it, then you can be sure that they are looking into it. Just because they haven't fixed it yet does NOT mean that they have abandoned it. And that's where I offered the suggestion that if you don't think the developers are capable enough, and you think you can do BETTER, then by all means try! The source is there. I'm sorry, but I cringe every time I hear complaints like this.
I agree with you, but:

1. The download resume bug exists since version 1.8 (and yes, I think that if LimeWire would actually check the checksum of the file instead of it's name and size, this problem wouldn't exist anymore [bearshare uses HASH], and I don't know Java, so I can't do anything).
2. This thread is the biggest thread that I have ever seen, and the least they can do is reply to it.
3. The developers very rarely read the forum, and they are not aware about the bugs (For example, Vinnie, the creator of Bearshare, and Sam (Bearshare's staff), always reply to threads, and they are aware about the bugs).
4. They prefer to add feautures like internal video player instead of working ALL the time on that specific bug, until it's fixed (I understand that new feautures must be added, but what's the point if you can't download anything?).

I'm not saying that the developers aren't doing anything, I'm saying that instead of working on other feautures, they should work on the download resume bug, that really annoys me and other people. I have a dial-up connection, and when I download 80% of a 200MB file, and then the download is interrupted, and I have to start downloading the file from the beggining, it's REALLY annoying.
