Default Can't connect

I have Limewire Pro 4.14.8, the connection gets 1 bar and states "starting connection". However I was on the site fine yesterday and downloaded several songs. Nothing on my computer/connection has changed, is Limewire expiring problems? does anyone else see this?
Details
1) Windows XP service pack 2
2) Windows Firewall, Norton Antivrus both have been programmed with exclusions for Limewire
3) 1.00 GB of Ram Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
4) 200 GB disk space
5) Cable/DSl
6) Modem and router is supplied by Rogers who is my provider
7) connecting from home
8) Limewire Pro 4.14.8 and Java J2SE Environment 5 Updated 11
9) Rogers
10) Test results pass
11) No sharing of connection
12) not 1st time with Limewire, have had for long time
13) yes brickwall is there but it was there yesterday when I accessed and downloaded
14) Not sure
15) Norton
16) Canada

I am very confused why it worked yesterday and not today?
