OK, now you need to click the link below and follow the instructions to Bmxguy in my previous post. However, may I suggest that you dig out your modem manual first of all and read through it two or three times or at least until you can understand what you are reading: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...tml#post285776

Methinks you are a bit rough there, buddy. Everybody is a nooby at one point, and it is only the decent thing to do to be polite and patient.
Actually, I don't think P2P activity is something noobies should be jumping into; Hell, you say ram and they say ewe.
CPU? Oh, do you mean C3PO?
Disk Space? Yea, I saw 2001... it was trippin..
Bytes/Bits? Wow, can we use handcuffs, too?
And then they have to understand ports, routers, Hips software, and so on.
UNderstanding how to query; recognising bogus crap right on the spot..., the value of bitzi; how big (or small) the file they're looking for should be;
Configuring LW to compliment their broadband (or 56Kbs - ouch) service...
Where and where not to let fellow p2pers pry; man, it must be just overwhelming for these virgins to roam the streets by themselves.
Maybe, instead of flaming, you should have some prepared responses and suggestions saved in Notepad... where you could just paste ur answer, or redirect them to some of the excellent "tutorials" posted and linked to by some excellent moderators, ie, LordoftheRings.
Hey, drugs ain't that bad, either, for taking the edge off things... (like your life).
Personally, I just developed a craving for an ice cold pilsner... I'm running to the bar right now.
