  First off it did say a one time fee, which is just the same as saying lifetime.  And as far as tech support, give me an hour of it for all I care, the only time I needed any is when it got rid of my pro without any authorization from me.  Also please note that I am not angry at any administrators, I'm angry at the fact I paid for something and got misled into pissing that money away.    
 I didn't delete my pro installer, when  I took the recommended upgrading, it replaced my pro installer with a downgraded basic.  So it's not like I had a choice, once I got a newer version.
 
 Thanks to your advice Wondering, I'll be moving on to another program.  I probably should have went with something else in the first place, I can see that now.  And I don't mind taking a little extra time posting in a few forums how crappy the service is.
