Try these things:

1. Go to Start menu > Programs > LimeWire > Uninstall. __ If that works then reinstall LW again.

2. Download the OFFLINE version & install. If it won't let you, then try step 3.

3. Errors due to mistakenly uninstalling LW using Add/Remove control panel - what to try now. Read from here onward!

This is not the appropriate section for your last question by the way. lol
