hey thanx peerless, i will mention this information regarding the (IP address) to my ISP tomorow morning, maybe it is something that can be looked at.

i was considering installing java again, but i really can't see how that could be the problem, seeing as only yesterday Limewire was working like a dream & that was with a upto 2mbp connection....

i changed my ISP with speeds of upto 5.5mbp & limewire is even slower than before..... PUZZLED
